Most folks think of booze when you say Frugal MacDoogal. You can now add barbecue to that name, at least for festivals and such. The well-known Nashville liquor store has been making barbecue on the road lately, winning the People’s Choice award at the recent Nashville Barbecue Festival. October rolled in unseasonably cool, making hot coffee a popular item at the West Nashville Farmers’ Market in Richland Park on Saturday. A few vendors were apparently taken off-guard and shivered in short sleeves. You could say they were doing brisk business. There is still plenty of produce to be had for the season
